ATLA 2006, Chicago

A shot from the window of the hotel banquet room at the concluding banquet on Saturday evening. (Every once in a very great while I take a pic which is good enough to stand on its own, w/o any editing at all!)

The Holiday Inn Merchandise Mart, a totally modern 23-story building, is attached to the historic and huge Merchandise Mart proper via a skyway.

some of "Spirit" from Trinity UCC Chicago

This is a pic of part of the vocal group "Spirit" from Trinity UCC, Chicago. They offered worshipful and spirited singing at the ATLA Conference Banquet. There were 12 singers altogether but I was seated too close to the stage to get them all in the photo, and it was not decent and in order to get up and move around to get better shots.

now and then

Eric Goldstein is two years younger than I. We worked together at Historic Annapolis Foundation (HAF) during summers in high school, and were on the Annapolis High School newsletter staff together.

Here we are as tour guides for HAF in August 1987...Eric is the fellow on the left; the other folks are, L-R: me, Dawn Price, and Colin Meeder.

And here is Eric nowadays.
