Legoland or Bust!
Meg Wagner (daughter of Mary Jane Anderson) and her husband Mike and boys Mike and Thomas came to San Diego to escape the Iowa winter and worship at the mecca of Legoland.
We had dinner together tonight at Don Chuy's Mexican restaurant.
The Wagner clan had spent the day seeing the San Diego Zoo, and the boys were pretty tired. Esp. Thomas, who had totally fallen asleep w/ his head on the table and wasn't really able to be photographed. He's the lump curled up over the table at the far right in the pic of Meg

Sugar aka Chessie the C&O mascot
The C&O RR used to have a mascot, "Chessie," who was a striped cat who was able to 'sleep like a kitten' in C&O sleeping cars b/c the ride was so smooth. (She eventually acquired a mate, Peake, as in Chesa peake & Ohio....clever, eh?).

New family member
Ryder Nathan Lutzker was born on 13 December 2006, came home from the NICU on 20 December 2006, and helped host 20 family members for Christmas dinner on 25 December. (The Lutzkers are in-law relations through my father's late sister's husband....)
